Whoa. That’s the word expressing an unprecedented sensation surging though runners as they step into the latest Saucony® ISO-Series performance footwear collection.
Launching Spring 2015, Saucony presents their revitalised Triumph and Hurricane and the new Zealot range with two cutting-edge innovations—ISOFIT™ and PWRGRID+™. The ISOFIT dynamic fit system adapts to the runner’s foot in action so that the shoe moves in perfect harmony with it. Together with the PWRGRID+ enhanced cushioning technology, the ISO-Series are engineered to make you want to run.
What’s New And Improved
ISOFIT™ Dynamic Fit System
92% of respondents surveyed in the Running USA 2013 National Runner Survey deemed “fit” as the chief criteria when purchasing sports shoes. So Saucony designers created an ultra-soft, inner fit-sleeve crafted out of stretchable air mesh that morphs to the foot for a sock-like feel. A floating support cage sits comfortably over the fit-sleeve, supporting the midfoot and adapting to the foot’s size, shape and movement. The shoe is then able respond to the individual runner’s gait throughout the run, regardless of stride mechanics or ground surface.
PWRGRID+™ Advanced Cushion Platform
The PWRGRID+ platform is engineered with PowerGrid™, a Powerfoam material that is incorporated with Saucony’s GRID™ technology, developing a structure that effectively centres the foot, absorbs impact and distributes pressure. The PWRGRID+ platform’s increased stack heights deliver over 20% more cushioning and 15% more resiliency than the PowerGrid construction alone—resulting in the most cushioned running experience Saucony has ever made.
The ISO-Series
Triumph
Weighing in at just 292g, the 8mm-offset Triumph is a deluxe neutral trainer. The open toe box of the Triumph further enhances the sock-like feel. The shoe’s SRC™ (Super Rebound Compound) Impact Zone provides durable shock absorption upon impact while a lightweight Support Frame™ locks the heel in place for a secure fit.
Hurricane
The Hurricane fuses the benefits of a premium stability shoe with plush cushioning underfoot, thanks to the PWRGRID+ platform. The ISOFIT saddle is engineered to provide additional stabilizing support. A seamless toe box in the 8mm-offset Hurricane provides plush comfort and the Support Frame secures the heel as the foot strikes the ground.
Zealot
The all-new Zealot completes the ISO-Series, offering runners ISOFIT and PWRGRID+ technologies in a lighter weight, lower-profile package. 57g lighter than the Triumph and built with a 4mm offset, runners will appreciate how light, fast and highly cushioned this shoe feels. Deep forefoot grooves provide flexibility and an extended SRC (Super Rebound Compound) Impact Zone through the midfoot enables the runner to make smoother transitions. A seam-free toebox provides comfort and allows the toes to splay towards the end of the run.
Where to Buy?
The ISO-Series will be available at all Royal Sporting House stores from February 2015, retailing at S$199 and above.
