The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, which started in 1977 in New York’s Central Park, has expanded into the world’s largest corporate running event, held across 16 locations in eight countries. This year, the event marked Singapore as its second stop globally and the first in the Asia Pacific, paving the way for future races in Sydney, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
More than just a race, the event promotes community spirit, teamwork, and corporate wellness, combining fitness with fun, food, and friendly competition. Since its debut on Singapore’s running calendar in 2004, the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge has become an essential event in the city-state’s business and social calendar.
Continuing its tradition, J.P. Morgan made a charitable donation on behalf of all participants to the Rainbow Centre, supporting the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
This ongoing partnership has entered its third year, enhancing community inclusivity. Approximately 30 representatives and students from the Centre participated in a specially designed shortened race route, further emphasising the event’s inclusive nature.
