In collaboration with i Light Marina Bay, the ILLUMI FEST RUN kicked off with high spirits and a dazzling spectacle of colours as more than 4,000 participants set off into the night to get their glow on for the event’s fifth edition.
The spectacular ILLUMI FEST RUN 2018 saw participants dash and dance their way through cascading shades of ILLUMI glow water and four exhilarating ultraviolet zones. Doused in neon and transformed into luminous pieces of a moving, multi-coloured artwork, runners made their way through Crazy Lazer, Neon Life, Bubble Pop and Glo Mania zones, and revelled in showers of kaleidoscopic paint by illuminators.
Celebrations continued with giant fluorescent paint party against the radiant backdrop of i Light Marina Bay. Fuelled by fresh beats from DJ Cookie and Rave Republic, runners and partygoers danced the night away at the ILLUMI FEST Village, tested out the giant ILLUMI Slide and launched into paint wars with their friends at the only glow-in-the-dark paint party in the heart of the city.
The ILLUMI FEST RUN unveiled an expanded ILLUMI experience to share with festival-goers and fun runners alike. Including an ILLUMI Bar as a vibrant gathering point for visitors, as well as an interactive Neon Playground-themed ILLUMI space showcasing giant installations of popular games such as Twister, Hopscotch and Jenga, the collaboration has yielded an abundance of glowtastic experiences for the public to enjoy.
