The M.A.D (Make A Difference) Race calls for your support to raise awareness on depression, which is a common mental health condition in Singapore and around the world, to break down social stigma associated with it and restore hope to people suffering from it. The inaugural race consists of 2 categories, a 5km competitive run and 2.5km walkathon at Sentosa’s Palawan Beach.
Participants of the race will receive a limited edition Race Tee, an exciting Race pack and an amazing set of 7 coloured wristbands.
Organized by Touch Community Services as part of a Global effort for World Mental Health day, the M.A.D. (Make A Difference) Race will aim to break 2 Singapore record : 1) Largest Mass Run with balloons; and 2) Largest Mass Walk with Umbrellas.
As part of this campaign, the organisers are also encouraging participants to perform acts of kindness to someone, for 7 days after the event. Take up the 7-Days Challenge!
