Relay for Life 2018 (RFL 2018) organised by the Singapore Cancer Society, returns for the second year. This year, we continue to aim to mobilise the community to raise awareness, change behaviors, and take action and to raise funds for the fight against cancer.
The global movement founded in May 1985 by American Cancer Society in Tacoma, Washington, wants to rally the community together to Celebrate the lives of those who battled cancer, Remember loved ones lost and Fight Back against a disease that has taken so much.
What is RFL?
RFL encourages the public to form teams to take turns walking around a designated path. The overnight event is 15 hours long and each team is asked to have a member on the path at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. This year, we are also encouraging teams and individuals to raise funds during RFL for Singapore Cancer Society.
Participants are invited to save the date. Registration and event details will be shared at a later date.
