Co-organised by The Singapore Polytechnic Graduates’ Guild (SPGG), Singapore Polytechnic’s Student Development & Alumni Relations (DSA), the People’s Association’s Community Sports Clubs (CSC) and Community Chest (ComChest), the Run for Charity 2017 aims to raise funds for our hearing-impaired friends and family to help maintain, expand, and improve a range of services to more than 5,100 deaf and hearing impaired clients of The Singapore Association for the Deaf, which include education and training, case management and counselling, sign language interpretation, note-taking, sale of assistive hearing devices, and psychosocial and financial assistance.
This event will also foster the close ties between the Singapore Polytechnic fraternity and the community, by promoting a healthy lifestyle through the sport of running, and is open to competitive and casual runners, and is open to all age groups, including children.
