The Race Against Hunger is organized by Yum! Asia Franchise in support of the United Nations World Food Programme. Yum! Asia is part of Yum! Brands, Inc., the owner of the restaurant brands KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. Since 2007, Yum! Brands Inc. has raised nearly $640 million in cash and food donations for the United Nations World Food Programme and other hunger relief agencies, helping provide nearly 2.6 billion nutritious meals. Yum! Brands’ World Hunger Relief effort is the world’s largest private sector hunger relief initiative.
