The Oscars100 Hut 2 Hut starting on Friday, 16 February 2018 is a 100km loop course that takes in 10 climbs and 8 iconic huts, starting and finishing at Mt Buller Village in Victoria.
This spectacular trek/run challenge takes teams of two on a stunning journey through Victoria’s High Country, and have a maximum of 55 hours to complete what some have called the hardest 100km event in Australia.
Beautiful she may be, the Hut 2 Hut course is a bit of a brute, with around 5700 meters of elevation gain! Ten peaks will be bagged. Not big by world standards – indeed Buller itself is the highest at 1805m – but try knocking off ten of them in a row, with plenty of diving down to the valley floor before climbing back up and you will know you’ve worked hard!
Oscars100 is a registered charity that has been created to raise awareness for autism and raise funds that help deliver early intervention programs for kids and families living with autism.
