Osaka Marathon 2017 will be held on 26 November 2017. The race will start from Osaka Castle Park. The race consists of Marathon Challenge Run and 8.8km Challenge Run.
The Osaka Marathon aims to help people develop a deeper understanding of charitable activities and encourage many of those participating in the race, including runners, supporters on the sidelines and volunteers to participate in such charity programs. In addition to the entry fee, participants must donate at least two units (one unit: JPY 500) or more as charity donation.
All marathon runners who participate in this competition will be divided into seven teams and will compete as a team. The winner will be the team with the best average time among all finishers. 100 runners selected in a drawing among the finishers of the winning team will be given berth placed for the Osaka Marathon 2018! The privileges will not apply for those participants in the wheelchair race and challenge run.
The entry fee for the Osaka Marathon 2018 must be paid by each participant.
