Orange Ribbon Run returns for its fourth year this September. The nation’s only running event against racism, the Orange Ribbon Run is a signature effort by OnePeople.sg to promote values of respect, understanding and trust. The event will be held on Saturday, 10 September 2016 at Bayfront. Early Bird Registration has already commenced and will end on 17 June 2016. The normal registration period will end on 12 August 2016.
Race Against Racism has been gaining momentum each year. Besides rallying locals, the event has drawn foreign workers to join cause. Jacob General Contractors Pte Ltd, who came on board to support the cause last year, expressed that their foreign workers are looking forward to this year’s event. The company, which employs largely workers from India, Thailand and Malaysia finds participating in Race Against Racism enables their workers to appreciate local culture, and experience first-hand, the importance Singaporeans place on living in harmony.
