The North West Vertical Marathon (NWVM) 2019 is a non-competitive charity vertical marathon with three main objectives:
- Promote a healthy lifestyle within the North West CDC and bring together individuals with an interest in sports and fitness;
- Raise funds for the Community Chest; and
- Increase awareness of the underprivileged in the community.
NWVM is jointly organised by the Youth Executive Committees (YEC) of Holland-Bukit Timah GRC and Bukit Panjang SMC. They consist of:
- Bukit Panjang CC YEC
- Bukit Timah CC YEC
- Senja-Cashew CC YEC
- Ulu-Pandan CC YEC
- Zhenghua CC YEC
