Mount Fuji (富士山 Fujisan) is the highest volcano in Japan at 3,776.24 m (12,389 ft) and the 7th-highest peak of an island in the world. As one of Japan’s “Three Holy Mountains”, Mount Fuji is a special place of scenic beauty and has been recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. It is no wonder that over 300,000 people from around the world visit its snow-capped peak each year.
