Mantin is situated in a valley surrounded by hills in the state of Negeri Sembilan. The event will be held in NSSDC (Mantin, Malaysia), start from the NSSDC main entrance taking runners through the oil palm plantations, rubber plantations, star fruit plantations, several Malay village, Chinese Hakka village, Indian Temple, and the challenging hill of Bukit Galla at Labu passing through the narrow alley of Batu Pecah with nature common sight of birds fluttering among the tree tops, along with the occasional squirrel and monkey.
This race showcases the typical Malaysian geographical, social and cultural heritage where the runners will meet and see ordinary Malaysian people and wild lives, flora and fauna in the rural settings with a distinct small town feel. During the race, the runners will be sampling the local cuisines in the food and drinks provided at the aid stations along the course of the race.
This is designed to be an international race, with the objectives of attracting foreign and out of state runners to visit Mantin. We are targeting to attract close to 100 foreign participants from 10 countries.
Mantin Ultra Trail Run is also CANDIDATE RACE of the Malaysia Ultra League Championship (MULC), to encourage more ultra runners to participate and achieve their race point to be counted for MULC 2018/2019 series.
