Kompas Tambora Challenge 320K is a sports competition held to commemorate the eruption of Mount Tambora 200 years ago, in 2015.
This year, Kompas Tambora Challenge is back to challenge the ultra marathon runners to conquer themselves to complete the Sumbawa cross along the 320 kilometer stretch while down the beauty of Sumbawa Island.
Kompas Tambora Challenge 320K will be held again for 4 days, and will begin on July 22-25, 2020.
Kompas Tambora Challenge 320K is an ultra marathon race with the longest and most extreme route in Indonesia, with a time limit of 64 hours & 60 hours. The competition was held on the island of Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara through three districts, namely West Sumbawa, Sumbawa and Dompu. This race will take the quiet and quiet provincial road route with a beautiful view along the coast, with an average height below 80 m. Start from the Pototano Field and finish in Doro Ncanga precisely at the foot of Mount Tambora where there will only be views of the savannah containing buffalo and horses.
