Held at the Central Business District (CBD) with a finish line adjacent to the F1 Pit Building at Marina Bay, the 5.6 km team run is open to full-time employees of local businesses and corporations. Each registered company must enter a minimum of four employees.
This is the 15th installment of the annual event, which is part of the global J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series – a run launched to encourage companies to put work aside on a workday for a spot of fun and fitness. It started in 2004 in Singapore and attracted over 14,300 participants from around 324 companies at the local edition last year.
Traditionally held on a Thursday in April, there will also be a race village set up for runners near the finish line to mingle and network with other participants, further encouraging camaraderie among companies and colleagues.
The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Singapore will be the second stop of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series in 2018. The Series will next hit Rochester, Chicago, and New York in May.
