From the beginning Jakarta Marathon has promoted and organized by INSPIRO and has been consistently organised every end of October. This Largest Road Race City Marathon in Indonesia always participated by more than 15,000 (now) runners from more than 50 counries including world elite runners from Kenya, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, and Australia. Every year, there are 5 (five) race categories: Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K and Maratoonz (sprint for the children) which took place in the iconic city landmark of National Monument (MONAS) then in 2018 move to National Stadium GBK (Gelora Bung Karno).
