The Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore (SCCPS) would like to continue to reach out and educate more women and would like to target mothers of young girls, university students and young working women through this Globe-athon. We hope that by conducting this Run, this will help to generate awareness on the importance of the dual strategy of cervical cancer prevention via screening and vaccination. The focus this year will be on cervical cancer and SCCPS is organising a Globe-athon Power Over Women’s Cancer Run in September 2015 at the East Coast Park. We are planning for a 5km Run & Walk which will end with a carnival and targeting for 1000 participants.
