The “Desa Lestari” programme is one of the initiatives by Rural and Regional Development Ministry of Malaysia. It is aimed at transforming rural villages into economic hubs. Kampung Sri Gunung Pulai is selected to be under this programme. This peaceful village is located at Mount Pulai which is one of the popular places due to major rainforests and unique flora and fauna. Mount Pulai which located in Kulai, Johor has a height of 654 meters above sea level. This year, a trail running event will be organized with a distance up to 30KM.
