U.S. high performance sportswear label Under Armour continues to expand its presence in Southeast Asia with high-performance innovative sports apparel, footwear and equipment.
With the recently opened Under Armour brand house at VivoCity, Harbourfront on 12 August 2016, it’s the fifth brand house to join the existing four, located at Orchard Gateway, Collyer Quay, Tampines One and Bugis Junction.
Shoppers can expect similar collections offered across all Under Armour brand houses, guaranteed to provide an edge to the training journey of aspiring athletes and the sporting community.
The Under Armour VivoCity boasts the signature elements consistent across all global Under Armour brand houses with a floor area of 1,980 square feet, including its wood furnishings, steel walls and bolt interior, as well as the Under Armour Thrones – large black leather seats with the logo stitched in red.
Under Armour New Innovative Technology in its Fall/Winter 2016 Collection
With a focus on running and training, the Fall/Winter collection was launched in stores from mid-August 2016.
Under Armour Charged Bandit 2
The collection includes the new and improved Under Armour Charged Bandit 2 which will accompany long distance runners to achieve their new personal best.
The enhanced UA Charged Bandit 2 secures your foot in place using the smooth, ultrasonic welded seaming with Bernis tape technology, without leaving any uncomfortable pressure on the foot. The Micro G foam in the midsole combined with Charged EVA running from heel to toe acts as a stable firmer platform, enabling wearers to go the distance.
Under Armour Slingride
The Under Armour Slingride features the brand’s innovative SpeedForm® technology to deliver an unprecedented precision fit for unrivalled comfort and zero distraction. Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fibre, is woven into the shoe’s upper for the ultimate in durable flexibility. In addition, the seamless asymmetric zonal compression slingshots your feet from heel to toe, allowing you to push off from the ground with ease.
HeatGear: Raid Tee
A new unveiling this season is the HeatGear®: Raid Tee, a product featuring double-sided fabric that wicks moisture from the skin, keeping wearers cool and dry in Singapore’s tropical weather while allowing them longer workout sessions.
The soft and lightweight construction of the Raid Tee fabric grants additional mobility and better stretch, giving absolute support to both sporting professionals and aspiring athletes. With its moisture wicking technology, the Raid Tee caters to improve conditions of core training for every kind of sport discipline.
Expanded Women’s line
Under Armour has always been an avid supporter of empowerment, with the tagline “I Will What I Want”, a mantra for female empowerment. Dedicated to celebrating women’s health and fitness, Under Armour expands its women’s line to provide a diverse selection of innovative products.
Retaining the three-tiered High-, Mid- and Low-impact system, Under Armour releases the new Crossback Mid-impact Bra. With anti-microbial and moisture wicking features, the Cross-back Mid-Impact Bra allows for an added layer of protection with soft and breathable removable pads.
A new addition is the Under Armour Tech Pant – Twist, constructed with super-soft heathered UA Tech fabric, thus delivering ultimate comfort throughout the day.
A new offering this season, the UA Street Precision Mid shoes are perfect for women on the go, featuring a low and lightweight midsole that provides great comfort and stability, and apparel-inspired fabrics with subtle perforations for increased breathability. Kicking off a series of new running programmes by Under Armour this season, running enthusiasts are invited to head on down to Under Armour brand house at Bugis Junction this weekend (27-28 August 2016), from 12.00pm – 6.00pm, to experience the Charged Bandit 2. Runners are able to trial the new running shoes on treadmills stationed outside the brand house, and receive a complimentary pair of Under Armour socks.
