Dubbed as the toughest road ultra 100km race in Malaysia, the TITI100 will begin on 6 March 2014 at Selangor. More than 500 ultra-marathoners are expected to challenge this event which is held for the second time in 2015.
The route starts and ends at “WATERVIEW” Thai Cuisine, Lot 1625, Jalan Sungai Tekali, Hulu Langat Batu 14, 43100 Selangor D.E. and runs through natural landscape along the Malay village Hulu Langat Batu 14. You will be greeted with rainforest jungles along the winding roads. Participants will have to run up to 2 major hills before passing a beautiful lake, which is the major source of drinking water supplied to the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Participants will also be passing by a few Orang Asli villages, where some small huts and Orang Asli are just tucked beside the route. Orang Asli are the indigenous people of Peninsular Malaysia. The route will take you to more than 3,000m elevation gain.
A new distance of 200km was introduced in this edition for runners who crave for greater challenges. The race is open to both men and women above 18 years old on the date of entry.
There are 3 categories in this event: 50km, 100km and 200km single stage races.
The fees for each category are RM200 for 50km, RM330 for 100km and RM500 for 200km. If you are a MURA member, you will enjoy a special discount. Only online registrations are available and they will close on 31 December 2014.
Flag off time for the race
- 200km category: 6 March 2015 at 6:00 p.m with a cut off time of 40 hours
- 100km category: 7 March 2015 at 4:00 p.m. with a cut off time of 18 hours
- 50km category: 8 March 2015 at 12:00 a.m. with a cut off time of 10 hours
