Launched in 2011, The Color Run is a unique paint race that has been organised in over 200 cities and 40 countries and has attracted more than six million runners worldwide. The race has no winners or official times; instead, forget all your target pace and enjoy the time of your life.
Runners will be showered in color powder from head to toe at this “Happiest 5k on the Planet.” The white tee that you wear at the start of the race will be transformed into a colourful tee at the end of the race. After passing the finish line, join the party at the Finish Festival.
CIMB Group will be the presenting sponsor for The Color Run in three different countries for 2017: Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Singapore and Indonesia (Jakarta). Each city boasts a different theme and concept. The three runs are expected to attract more than 35,000 runners.

Tropicolor World Tour
In the Tropicolor World Tour, you will take part in an island vacation experience filled with fun, music and colors. You will run through a series of colourful zones characterised by palm trees, tropical arches and island-style music.
At the Finish Festival, enjoy even more fun at Rainbow Beach, an interactive island featuring music, dancing, unique photo opportunities, and massive color throws.
Registration
Registration for The Color Run™ in Kuala Lumpur opens on 1 May 2017. The early bird registration fee for regular runner is RM 81, meanwhile, the normal price is RM 90. Registration fees for kids (aged 4-12 years old), deluxe runner, and family (2 adults, 2 kids) are RM 45, RM 120 and RM 225 respectively.
CIMB Bank debit and credit card holders are entitled to 20% discount on all prices when they register with promo code sent to them via email or SMS, subjected to terms and conditions.
Each Color Runner will receive a limited-edition Tropicolor race shirt, headband and fun temporary tattoos. In addition, Deluxe runners will receive happy socks, sunglasses, flower lei, and will be entitled to priority queue at race pack collection and start line. A finisher’s medal with floral lanyard will be handed out to all finishers at the finishing line.
Race pack collection is scheduled from 4 to 7 August 2017.
