Reebok ONE Challenge 2014 aims to encourage and excite the runners to take part in the new wave of competitive running! Reebok ONE Challenge 2014 doesn’t just focus on your stamina, but as an all-round race, will test the athletes on their cardio strength, upper body strength, core strength, endurance and most importantly on mental strength.
Reebok ONE Challenge 2014 is a timed obstacle race, running over a distance of 20.5km and incorporates 15 obstacles which will get you drenched. It will be held on 14 September 2014 at the Putrajaya Challenge Park.
2 Categories and a Total Prize Package of RM$64,000!
The Reebok ONE Challenge would have 2 categories: Men’s Open and Women’s Open. It would be open to athletes between the age limits of 18 years and 55 years (as of 31 December, 2014). All the athletes would be timed using a timing chip, which would be provided to them along with the race kit. All participants would be given a special PLAYDRY running vest, and all the finishers would receive a finisher tee and a medal.
Race kit collection happens on the 6 and 7 September with participants having the option of getting the race kit delivered to their residence.
The participants of the Reebok ONE Challenge would be competing for a total prize package of RM$64,000, including cash prizes of RM$5,600. The prizes would include prizes from sponsors Timex, Optimum Nutrition, AirAsia, iON Action Camera, Chi Fitness, Fitness Concept, Dailymuscle, Banana boat, Men’s Health and Running Malaysia.
In conjunction with the Reebok One Challenge, Reebok would be launching the latest obstacle racing shoe which was born from the trenches of obstacle racing, the Reebok All-Terrain series brings serious technology to the starting line. It’s got superior traction in mud, on ropes, and on vertical walls thanks to the specialized mid-foot teeth and a lugged outsole.
