National Vertical Marathon (NVM) is back to celebrate its 20th anniversary on 8 June 2014! NVM is a sporting event that incorporates the skyscrapers in the Central Business District, and this year, it is set to take place in one of the 3 tallest buildings in Singapore – One Raffles Place.
NVM is an annual sporting event organised by Nanyang Technological University’s Sports Club and is open to people all around the world. The 2013 iteration saw more than 2,200 participants ranging from children to veterans.
Over 2,500 Climbers Expected For 2014
With categories such as Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Youth Challenge, Veteran’s Challenge, Lovers’ Challenge, Team Open, NTU Team Challenge, Inter-JC Challenge, Corporate Relay and Family Fun Race, participants will be able to ascend to the top and enjoy the spectacular view of the Singapore skyline.
This year, the NVM 2014 aims to celebrate 20 years of climbing by drawing over 2,500 participants and continue to promote vertical climbing as a good avenue for bonding and for exercise.
The National Vertical Marathon 2014 takes place on 8 June 2014. Early bird registration closes on 23 March 2014 while registration ends on 1 May 2014.
