You probably know Meiji for its incredible range of delicious chocolates, snacks and dairy products—but have you heard of their inaugural food race? Come Saturday, 23 May 2015, you and your family and friends can experience the first ever Meiji food-inspired 5km fun run in Singapore!
Gathering at the Port of Lost Wonder in Sentosa, everyone will be flagged off in ten waves starting from 4:00 p.m in 10min intervals. After the turning point, runners will encounter their first challenge—the Meiji Plain Crackers Maze, made out of more than 130,000 pieces of crackers! Then, expect to be tickled with glee as you run or wade through a pool of…Meiji Bulgaria Yoghurt! Or at least, what looks and feels like it. The best time to capture those smiles and laughter would be at the next attraction, an instant photo booth with the adorable Hello Panda and Fresh Milk Cow mascots.
The festivities continue in MejiLand! Of course, you’ll get to feast on chocolate, fondue, milk, yoghurt and more at the Meji Buffet. Be prepared to stock up your pantry as you lap up great discounts on various Meiji dairy and confectionary products at the signature Meiji Fair.
Have a splashing good time at the Port of Lost Wonder, Sentosa’s kids water playground. Catch live performances of some of the best local talents and DJs in town, including the spectacular light and drum show by Singapore’s very own Urban Drum Crew! Alternatively, unwind with a relaxing yoga session post-run on the beach.
