An unlikely duo with a powerful cause: Partnering with Assisi Hospice, Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) will be organising a charity run on Saturday, 3 October 2015. Happening from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. at East Coast Park, Light Up Your Life Run 2015 will raise funds for both organisations.
Open to the public, this unique charity run will have non-competitive individual 5 km and 10 km runs, as well as a 2 km Dog Walk. All categories will start and finish near Big Splash at East Coast Park. There will also be a mini carnival featuring various stalls and family activities, lighting up the night with festivity and laughter.
Benefitting both people and animals, the funds raised will go towards the operating expense for both charity organisations to implement community-focused initiatives. One such programme is Healing Paws’ Animal-Assisted Activities, which enhance the quality of life for those in need by creating opportunities for motivation, education or recreation through human-animal interactions.

Early Bird entry fees from now until 21 June 2015 are S$48 for both the 10 km and 5 km categories. You can also sign up in grounds of four for S$200.
Early Bird registration fees are S$35 for the 2km Dog Walk with your canine pal, with S$10 for every additional headcount for up to 3 persons and 2 dogs per entry.
Every participant will receive a goodie bag worth up to S$250, including a limited edition event T-shirt, a bottle of vitamins, pet food from Wellness, energy bar and vouchers from our generous sponsors such as Delifrance and Renault.
