Traditionally held on a Thursday in April, the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge will return this year on 27 April 2017 for its 14th edition in Singapore.
The annual event is part of the global J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series, an initiative launched to encourage companies to put work aside on a workday for a spot of fun and fitness. Since its debut in 2004 in Singapore, the largest corporate team sporting series in the world has grew tremendously and attracted over 14,200 participants from an estimated 350 companies at the local edition last year.
Race Details
The Singapore leg of J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge 2017 will be held at the Central Business District (CBD) with a finish line adjacent to the F1 Pit Building at Marina Bay.
The 5.6km team run is open to full-time employees of local businesses and corporations. Each registered company must enter a minimum of four employees.
Participants may register only as part of a company team as no individual entries are accepted.
Awards will be presented for individual and team performances. Companies must register a minimum of ten participants to be eligible for team awards.
Corporate Hospitality Village
J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge aims to provide a platform for corporate entertainment and team building. As such, a race village will be set up near the finish line for runners to mingle and network with other participants, further encouraging camaraderie among companies and colleagues.
Individual marquees and a range of catering options are also available for companies to reserve if they wish to make exclusive arrangements for their guests and employees on the race night.
J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Championship
Singapore is the second stop of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series 2017. The Series will next hit Rochester, Chicago and New York in May.
At the end, the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Championship will be held to celebrate the unique corporate culture of the worldwide Series. The first place male, female, and mixed team in each city (three teams total per city) will earn an invitation to the Championship, provided they meet the eligibility rules.
