Asia’s first-ever werewolf-themed urban obstacle night race is prowling to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday, 31 July 2015.
BloodRunner promises howling fun times in an epic 10km challenge rolled out on a mix of Putrajaya’s urban streets and natural trails that comprises of over 10 different hair-raising obstacles. Brace yourselves to face physical and mental hurdles that are sure to keep your adrenaline pumped up and your blood coursing through your veins.
When the clock strikes ten, 5,000 runners will be flagged off over 22 waves in 5 minute intervals. As they set out into the night amidst the energetic city skyline, they will be kept motivated and encouraged with plenty of hair-raising theatrics in store. Meanwhile, the stopwatch ticks on as they put their athleticism a.k.a. survival skills—strength, balance, agility and core—to the test.
A festival ground will be there to host supporting friends and families, as well as the community, making it a night for everyone and anyone. Up-and-coming sensational talents and some of Klang Valley’s best food trucks will be on site to entertain under the stars, whet all the killer appetites, and bring everyone together for a memorable time.
Organised by Malaysian experiential agency Sw1tch Strategies Sdn Bhd, the chip-timed obstacle race is listed under the Malaysia Year of Festivals 2015. BloodRunner is poised to take its rip-roaring concept to the region and eventually to the world—but why wait?
