Fitbit, one of the major leaders in the connected health and fitness market, announced new software features for its top-selling Fitbit Blaze device. Along with this announcement, Fitbit also unveiled two new fitness trackers – Fitbit Charge 2 and Fitbit Flex 2.
Fitbit Blaze Users Can Expect a Smarter and More Motivating Device
Fitbit is delivering new features this month to all Fitbit Blaze users through a free software update that will enhance your fitness experience by helping you to stay more active, keeping you more connected to what matters most, and giving you new ways to personalise your tracker.
Reminders to move, now available on display with real-time progress tracking, urges users to stay active and reduce stationary time with friendly messages and vibrational prompts that can be personalised to your schedule to help motivate you to meet a mini-step goal of 250 steps each hour (approximately 2-3 minutes of walking).
Extended smart notifications allows you to stay connected by delivering notifications from your smartphone to your device with an on-screen message and a vibrating alert. It supports customised notifications from popular applications such as Facebook, Gmail, Instagram, Skype, Slack, Snapchat, WeChat and WhatsApp.
Fitbit also introduced 5 new clock faces, allowing users to choose from a total of 9 clock faces to further personalize your Blaze look.
Tim Rosa, VP of Global Marketing said,
“The latest software update to Blaze provides consumers with more motivating features, plus added personalisation so they can stay connected with smart features that matter most to them. Combined with our new premium designs for both Alta and Blaze, we are continuing to build on the popularity of our products with more style choices and features that provide more usefulness than ever before so that consumers can wear them day and night.”
Fitbit Reimagines its Most Iconic Fitness Trackers
Building on the popularity of its innovative wearables, Fitbit introduced two new fitness wristbands – Fitbit Charge 2 and Fitbit Flex 2 that effortlessly track your most important health and fitness stats, with new sleek looks and an experience that is even more engaging, motivating and personal to help you reach your fitness goals.
Inspired from Fitbit Charge HR, arguably the most popular fitness wristband from Fitbit, Fitbit Charge 2 revolutionizes with a new, sleek look and an easy-to-read display that is four times larger than its predecessor.
In addition to PurePulse heart rate tracking, it now features an enhanced exercise experience, new health and fitness tools, the smart notifications you need most, and a new design with a larger display and interchangeable bands that easily let you go from a workout to a night out. Charge 2 brings an experience that is more engaging, motivating and personal to help you reach your goals.
Fitbit also enhanced its other iconic tracker – Fitbit Flex, into an ultra-slim, swim-proof fitness wristband that can transform to fit your personal style with a variety of stylish new accessories.
The removable tracker transforms with classic bands, elegant bangles and pendants, allowing you to conveniently track all-day activity, exercise and sleep in a style that’s all your own.
