That is about to change with adidas’s largest retail concept at 270 Orchard Road. Spanning three levels, adidas’s first Brand Centre in Singapore will boast the biggest offering of performance and Originals apparel, footwear and accessories.
This is welcome news for folks who respect adidas’s commitment to all aspects of running and applaud adidas for creating a unique space where like-minded people can gather and find cutting-edge products designed exclusively for runners of all skill levels and fashion sensibilities.
Building on recent successes
Recently, the adidas Runners community concluded its 4th anniversary with a week-long virtual challenge, King of the Hoods from 16th to 24 October 2021. The challenge saw more than 300 participants representing their hoods with the North Zone ultimately winning the challenge and crowned the King of the Hoods.
Now that this event is history, runners are about to discover a more permanent way to congregate with mates who are equally passionate about running: The opening of the adidas’s first Brand Centre in Singapore.
A center where the best of Sport is celebrated
How will the adidas Brand Centre distinguish itself? The adidas Brand Centre will be the pinnacle of Sport, Lifestyle, Fashion and Culture in Singapore.
Located at Knightsbridge spanning three floors, the largest mono-brand retail sports destination will offer the largest array of adidas performance and Originals apparel, footwear and accessories in Singapore.
It will be where the best of Sport is celebrated, and where individuals come and be inspired by the brand, and will leave inspired to make the change in their lives and in others.
Within the adidas Brand Centre, visitors, shoppers and runners will be encouraged to think outside the athletic shoe box.
The adidas Brand Centre experience starts right at the entrance of the 3 level complex with the brand video – ‘We Got This’ – featuring inspirational stories from local celebrities and athletes as musician Benjamin Kheng; singer and model Iman Fandi; social media personality and certified face yoga practitioner, Christabel Chua; national high jumper and SEA Games record holder Michelle Sng and other local icons.
The video is showcased on the façade of the 3D LED Screen at Knightsbridge, and tells the personal stories of how they have each overcome their own creative or athletic ‘blocks’, while offering words of inspiration for the public to bounce back from their own setbacks, or to find the strength or inspiration to pivot.
adidas is ambitious about its goals. The brand strives to be the company that Singapore runners turn to for cutting-edge technology in apparel, gear and accessories while inspiring them to make the impossible, possible.
Can adidas Brand Centre be the paradise for runners?
The answer is yes, which is why many people were involved in the inception, creation, and construction of this latest adidas retail concept and why Singapore’s first Brand Centre will be unlike any shopping destination in the country.
HOMEGROUND for runners. Paradise for shoppers. The place to come when runners seek a one-stop destination that offers performance apparel, footwear and accessories that support them on their running journeys.
Look for updates related to the grand opening soon.
