Rallying the community of patients, caregivers and supporters in a Race to Save Lives, the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) will be holding their 7th annual Race Against Cancer (RAC) on Sunday, 13 September.
Sponsored by Singtel, this will be SCS’ flagship fundraising event with proceeds going to the self-funded voluntary welfare organisation’s various work and programmes. These include cancer treatment subsidies, welfare assistance, cancer rehabilitation, hospice care, free cancer screenings, research, and public education and community outreach initiatives.
Starting at 7 a.m. the event at Angsana Green, East Coast Park will invite Health Minister Mr. Gan Kim Yong as the event Guest-of-Honour. There will be three categories: 15km Competitive Run, 10km Competitive Run and a 5km Fun Run.

Registration is now open and entry fees are going at early bird rates for adults, as well as for students aged 23 and below. Participants in RAC’13 and RAC’14 get to enjoy lower Loyalty Rates too!
Race entitlements include an event running top by Brooks, an exclusive event race pack and race booklets. 10km and 15km competitive runners will get personalised race bibs and special finisher medals.
