Whenever they appear at marathons, girls squeal with delight, and guys stare and smile.
No, it is not the hydration point (although the reactions are very similar), but costumed runners dressed as superheroes and fairytale characters.
Without further ado, here are some of the highlights of the runners we saw spicing up the scenery in 2013.
