The 24th itineration of GEL-KAYANO, ASICS performance running footwear line, incorporates a wide range of ASICS technologies, including MetaClutch, which was first introduced on ASICS’ most innovative long distance running shoe, MetaRun in 2016.

Improved Stability and Fit
The GEL-KAYANO series has provided runners with consistent stability and comfort for over 20 years. The newest GEL-KAYANO 24 features sloped Dynamic DUOMAX Support system to maintain stability from the first strides to the final steps of a run.
With the MetaClutch technology, the exoskeleton external heel counter which is equipped with built-in memory foam lining perfectly wraps the lateral and medial side of the ankle and provide runners with a more personalised heel fit.
Durable Comfort and Support
The jacquard mesh features FluidFit technology that combines multi-directional stretch mesh with stretch reinforcements that adapt to the athlete’s foot, creating a truly customised glove-like fit.
The upper is further improved by the premium Ortholite X-40 Sockliner which features higher rebound properties to provide greater bounce back against the ground while providing a high-level of breathability.
The SpEVA 45 Lasting on the GEL-KAYANO 24 offers a soft platform feel and unparalleled upper support. When combined with forefoot and rearfoot GEL and FlyteFoam midsole, runners will receive even greater comfort on long distance runs.
New patented structured panels in the shoe’s upper are especially useful for overpronators and offer additional foot support for long distance runs.
The GEL-KAYANO 24 model retails for S$259 and will be available in July 2017 at ASICS stores as well as select specialty running stores.
The shoe will be available in a variety of colorways for both men and women and will also be available in wide width editions [(2E and 4E) for men and (D) for women] in the following months.
