Then IMU Chariofare Charity Run 2019 organised by International Medical University (IMU) could be for you. IMU originated from the idea of running for a good cause and aims to raise funds to support the university’s charity partners, so they can focus on what they do best – serving and caring for the less fortunate.
The charity run starts on 21 September (Saturday) at International Medical University, Bukit Jalil. The run will flag off with 10km category at 6:30 a.m., 5KM at 6:45 a.m., and 3KM at 7:00 a.m. The cut off time for all the category will be at 9:00 a.m.
Not only that, IMU Chariofare also organise a carnival whereby aiming to entertain and satisfy you with an array of performances, activities and of course, food. A large variety of captivating and authentic food stalls run by IMU students and staff.
Fun games and activity booths will also run by IMU students and staff for the whole family to enjoy after the charity run. All of the profits raised from the carnival will be donated to the beneficiary – IMU Cares Humanitarian Aid Fund.
The carnival will starts at 8.00 a.m. and finishes at 1.30 p.m. Booths will be up and ready to go by 8.00 a.m. Following up, speech and performances will start at 8.30 a.m. After the run, every runner will be entitled to an e-certificate.
Now, the most anticipated part is the prizes! Participants will get to win some fantastic prizes by simply purchasing a booklet of coupons, worth RM10 each! Every book of coupon comes with a complimentary coupon containing a serial number printed on it. Upon purchase of a book of coupons, you will automatically be eligible for the amazing lucky draw.
You will have two chances to win at the two lucky draw sessions, with one before, and another on the day of Chariofare itself. Both lucky draws will be held in the Atrium of International Medical University (IMU), Bukit Jalil Campus.
The first draw will be on Thursday, 5 September 2019, 12:30 p.m. The grand draw will be on Saturday, 21 September 2019, on the day of Chariofare itself at various times. Remember to hold onto the coupon with the serial number so that you can claim your prize!
